What is Clannad?
Clannad is a Japanese visual novel created by the software company Key, who also produced the successful titles Kanon and Air. More recently however, it has been known for its success with Kyoto Animation's Anime adaption of the game. You can read more on it here: [link])

What is the Clannad Club for?
Well, obviously, as the nam implies, it's a club made for people who have any interest in Clannad, be it the game, the anime or the books. That aside, it's also a way to meet people with similar interests, since I personally haven't met too many other Clannad fans ;A;

Hopefully as the club grows we will be able to hold contests with prizes, among other things.

How do I join?
Simple. Just watch the account and either leave a message on this profile or note me saying you want to join. Then I'll add your icon to the member's list in this journal.

Ok I've joined, now what?

I have not thought that far ahead yet. For now it's just a place for Clannad fans to meet and talk about Clannad, as well as promote them and their art. I wanted to get an idea of how many fans there were here on dA. However, Clannad is still only on it's 17th episode, with 7 more episodes left. In other words, it's early days yet for this club, hopefully it will grow as more people learn to love the show ◕ ◡ ◕

After story confirmed! It will be called "CLANNAD AFTER STORY". VAs and producers will stay the same, but no info on any date yet.

(note: I can't read that, that's what a friend that understands japanese says ^^)

Wow, what can I say. It's pretty much exactly what I hoped for, and I'm unbelievably happy they are going through with this. The after story is commonly known as the heart of Clannad, and the fact that they plan to animate it is just awesome news for me (and you too, I hope :3)

It will most likely start airing as soon as the second season of Haruhi Suzumiya ends, and I have no complaints about that :3

Thus ends my happy update, I'm off to find out as much as I can about this :'D
